Booking Online - HotDoc
Sinclair Dermatology has moved to online bookings using HotDoc. You can book via HotDoc App or our website – www.sinclairdermatology.com.au. We encourage you to use this service as it will assist you in managing your appointments with us and to view the profiles of all our Specialist Dermatologists and Dermatology Fellows at our two sites. Alternatively, if this is not suitable for you, please email us reception@sinclairdermatology.com.au or you can also call us on 9654 2426.
Why do I need a referral?
A referral from your GP or another specialist provides general background medical information that may be of relevance to treatment, describes your condition and enables us to assess degree of urgency. After each consultation, our dermatologist will correspond with your GP regarding your treatment plan and results. This provides important continuity of your healthcare.
Please note: A current referral is a requirement of Medicare to be eligible for a rebate. GP referrals need to be renewed every 12 months, even if you are returning for the same condition. A referral from another Specialist is valid for 3 months.
Where do I send my referral? - Please email a scan or photo of your referral to refer@sinclairdermatology.com.au
What is the difference between a Specialist Dermatologist and a Dermatology Fellow? - Our Specialist Dermatologists are recognised by the Australasian College of Dermatology. Our Dermatology Fellows are Australian-registered Medical Practitioners, who are undertaking advanced training with us and who have completed their post-graduate training in dermatology overseas.
